Description
In this original oil painting I wanted to capture the magnificent poppy fields of central California.
Every Spring, depending on the year's rain and sunshine, the hills and fields are covered with wild flowers as far as the eye can see.
Here I have painted poppies and lupine (blue/purple). There is a mist on the distant hill and a hint of the moon in the morning sky. The original painting continues onto the 1 in.sides.
Please see also my other oil painting in my Portfolio: "California Poppies." Note the watermark will Not appear in fine art prints sold here. The Original Oil Painting is available for immediate sale. This painting as been viewed hundreds of times and is one of my most favored pieces of art.
