Artist's Description
This is my Original Oil Painting of Catalina Island, 30 miles off the coast of Los Angeles, California. Here is the city of Avalon with the Casino building on the far right. There are yachts and kayaks.
A pod of dolphins leads you in. The scene is above and below water; the sea life is accurate for the area. And dolphins are found in the clouds to complete the scene! The original oil painting is available for immediate purchase as are wall art prints and many products.
This art would fit many home decors and would make a great gift.
About Jerome Stumphauzer
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day.
