Description
I was so impressed and overwhelmed by the experience of my first trip to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania) that I had to express it in an oil painting. This is the result: a mother and one year old elephant endangered.
The mother is literally disappearing and you can see through her. The baby will not survive without her. In the background is the magnificent sight of Kilimanjaro volcano. Here it is snow topped, but that too is endangered and is disappearing because of global warming!
