Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Here I have combined my two very popular giraffe oil paintings "Giraffe Looking Back" and "Giraffes The Kiss."
It is meant to be thought provoking -- you decide what it means. All three artworks are available here in my portfolio.
This art would be welcome in many homes and would make a great gift! The original is available: it is a 16 x 20 x 1.5 inch stretched canvas, Signed, for $135.
About Jerome Stumphauzer
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day. I am influenced by a diverse group of artists who have come before me -- from da Vinci and Dali to Monet and Lassen. This website has helped me reach an audience all over the world.
