Artist's Description
This is my first painting of lavender, and it is painted in an impressionist style. This is mostly from imagination, but I will be soon visiting an actual lavender farm in full bloom and plan to do more paintings and photographs.
This fine art would fit many home and workplace decors and make a great gift.

About Jerome Stumphauzer
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day.
