Artist's Description
I was out for a bike ride and noticed these great clouds shaping up for sunset. I went home for my camera and shot this photo from the Venice California Pier. At the time I didn't realize the reflections on the wet sand would be so good. Also, please take a look at my "Venice Beach Sunset" photo and my Hawaii surfing oil paintings here in my Portfolio.
About Jerome Stumphauzer
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day.
